MB Asphalt focuses primarily on commercial asphalt maintenance and repair, helping property owners protect pavement that sees real traffic and wear. Much of our work involves keeping aging parking lots functional and presentable long past the point where replacement would normally be expected. At the same time, we work on newer pavement that needs the right repairs and maintenance early on so it doesn't reach that last-leg stage.

MB Asphalt was founded in 1995 by Mike Bunch. With a background working on pumps, air compressors and sealcoating equipment in addition to working for the leading sealcoat manufacturers in Michigan. Mike began by building his first sealcoating setup using a steel tank and pumping system, then proceeded to go door-to-door until landing his first job. He learned the work hands on, improving daily in the field and building the business one project at a time.
As the work grew, so did the services. Customers began asking if he could do more, and the answer was always yes. Each new request became an opportunity to learn another aspect of asphalt maintenance and deliver it the right way. The reputation for showing up, figuring it out, and standing behind the work led to long-term relationships with contractors and industry partners - many of which have lasted over 20 years. Today, MB Asphalt remains a family-run operation with the same hands-on involvement, work ethic, and pride that built it from the beginning. We believe honesty and reputation matters, and if something isn't right, we make it right.
